Most products are printed on demand, dispatched within 4.5 days

Orders are delivered via Royal Mail UK First Class or Airmail services. Larger orders may be upgraded at our discretion to courier delivery. Typical delivery times are as follows:

  • United Kingdom – 1 working day
  • EU – 3 to 5 working days
  • Rest of the World – 6 to 7 working days

Delivery Charges

For each order there is a handling and packaging charge of £1.50. Postal rates are Royal Mail 1st class in the UK. There are three other postal zones all charged at the Royal Mail Airmail rates: Europe, World Zone 1 and World Zone 2

Returns and Refunds

We want to provide the best service to our customers. If you are in any way unhappy with the quality of the documents you purchase, we will refund in full any product returned to us in its original condition within 14 days of purchase. If the mistake is ours, we will also refund the delivery. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Please note that products may be sealed to ensure that they have not been copied or tampered with before delivery to you. If this seal is broken, we regret we will be unable to offer a refund, but if your product is faulty we will happily provide a refund or replacement.

Composers Edition publishes the composers’ own imprints of musical works and settings.  The musical content and it’s setting are therefore firstly the responsibility of the Composer.  Should you want to raise an issue regarding the musical content and setting you should write to and we will forward your message to the composer.

To return an item, please enclose your original delivery note and repack securely. State the reason for the return and send the package to:

Cancellation Rights

Under the United Kingdom’s Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within seven working days of delivery. This applies to all our products. However, we regret that we cannot accept cancellations of contracts for the purchase of audio products where the item has been unsealed.

To cancel this contract, please write ‘Contract cancellation’ on the delivery note that accompanies your items, package the relevant item securely and send it to us with the delivery note so that we receive it within seven working days of the date that the item was delivered to you. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item is faulty. As soon as we receive notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item. However, you should be aware that once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example, handling, postage and packing).

Customer Service Issues

If you have any customer service issues please e-mail us at [email protected]. We aim to deal with all complaints quickly, efficiently and courteously and as stated above we will refund you in full if you are not entirely happy with your purchase.


Replacement for items lost by delivery services will be handled on an individual basis. If an item has not been received after a reasonable time has passed we will replace it at our cost. Rest assured you will never be expected to pay for something you have not received.

In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil all or part of your order, we will notify you by e-mail and credit your account with the full amount charged.
