Loplop was one of the important characters in Max Ernst’s graphic collage novel, La Femme 100 têtes. Ernst cut and pasted existing engravings and prints and made the surreal compositions into a book form. I originally improvised the musical ideas for midi files on a website exploring some of these images. Some years later, I made a collage of the ideas to produce this music, echoing Ernst’s process in sound.

Premier: Foro Internacional de Música Nueva “Manuel Enriquez”, México City.
