Written for my friend American guitarist Adam Levin, it takes its name from Hindu astronomy. A nakshatra is one of the 27 sectors along the ecliptic. Their names are related to a prominent star in the sky. Ardra corresponds to the red supergiant Betelgeuse, in the Orion constellation. Bharani to 41-Arietis, a triple star system in the constellation of Aries. Adra is contemplative, reflective in nature, while Bharani is impulsive and impetuous.
