Written in 1987 to announce the arrival of Linda Jones at her wedding to the composer's long-term friend and colleague Chris Mitchell, it is based on the chorale Lead Us Heavenly Father.

Scored for two trumpets, it expands the original melody with distinctive rhythmic and harmonic writing. Strong accents throughout give the impression of jubilant ringing bells.
